With that much of blogger , what are they blogging about ?
Well, it is highly depend on the country. As Schriver (1997) say that whatever is designed or publish must cater to the audience's needs, wants and belief.
For example , Malaysian audience tend to read blogs that are related to politics. Some famous blogger like Jeff Ooi, Lim Kit Siang,Former Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir mainly include their political views.
There are many type of blogs that are categorized by Thinkquest (2006) such as :
- Personal
- Corporate
- Collaborative
- Humour
- Spam
Blogs now serves as alternative media in Malaysia as people are more dependant to blogs. The corporates also gain benefits as it provide platform for marketing and advertising.
